The SquareSpace story
How we started, what drives us, and the people behind the work.
The person behind the work
“I wanted SquareSpace to be the place I would send my own family to.”
The one who started it, and still the one who picks up the phone. At SquareSpace, we believe that good furniture should anchor your home with both style and practicality.
It started small
SquareSpace began with one promise: do honest work, and treat every customer the way we would want to be treated. At SquareSpace, we believe that good furniture should anchor your home with both style and practicality.
Word got around
No advertising, no gimmicks — just people telling other people. One-off jobs turned into regulars, and regulars turned into friends who still walk in and ask for us by name.
Bigger, same hands
What began as a single idea is now something people across Your City genuinely rely on. We have grown, but the person who answers the phone is still the person who does the work.
The promise stays
Get the details right, keep our word, and let the work speak for itself. That is not a slogan — it is the only reason any of this happened.
Thank you for being part of the SquareSpace story.
Partner
And the other half
“Someone has to make sure the work actually gets done.”
The other half of SquareSpace. Different job, same standard — and the reason the day runs at all.
- The join
Came for a week, stayed
Turned up to help SquareSpace through a busy stretch and never really left. What was meant to be temporary became the other half of the business.
- The change
Made it run properly
Put order into the parts nobody enjoys — the scheduling, the stock, the follow-up calls. The bit customers never see is the bit that makes the rest possible.
- Now
The one who says no
Every business needs someone who will turn down work that is not right for it. That is this job, and it is why the work you do get is done properly.
